Kathleen had been up for a while. Wondering around as usual. Thats how she got in trouble on a daily bases. But this time she hadn't done a thing. She was just sitting on the dock near this overly large boat. Kicking the rope that tied it to the dock. Then there was this boy how came up and cut it lose. There was no untieing, he just cut it with a knife. The gaurd had blamed it on Kat. She hadn't done a thing. Tipical. Just because she acted like a boy did mean she was a huge trouble maker. Well atleast not all the time.
You see Kathleen was a sort of tomboy. She wore boys clothes. Ones that she would get from a certain Taylor in town. She didn't like dresses. Not at all. Her hair was pinned up ontop of her head and she had a hat on until the gaurd grabbed her arm and jerked her up. Kat sighed lightly as she glanced around. Then here eyes narrowed as she saw the boy who had caught the boat lose.
"Thats him! He was the one who did it!" she yelled. The gaurd didn't seem to hear her or atlest he was igonoring her. Kat huffed lightly. Just wait until her father heard about this. The gaurd let go of her arm and asked her if her father was at work. Great. She nodded slowly. Kathleen knew her father was at work now. He wasn't a slacker like some people. Like that man who owned that little shop down the street from the court house. He was always asleep when ever her and James, a friend, walked down there to see what he had on the market.
Kathleen coughed lightly and rubbed her arm. Then she picked up her hat from the wooden dock below her. Her dark hair fell into her crystal eyes. She blew it away, slightly. It didn't work. It just fell back into place. Before Kat knew it they, the gaurd and her, were standing outside her father blacksmith shop. Here we go she thought. She sighed softly. Either her father was going to yell at her there or waited until he got home and brought her mother, Elizabeth, into it. As always.
The gaurd banged his fist against the wooden door. Kathleen heard it echo inside. Then she heard a piece of metal hit another piece of metal. She began to prepare for the worse.

It was mid day and Joseph was out and about yet again. The day was still young and the light air was crisp, it was indeed a nice day to go for a walk. With his hands in his pockets he wonderred down into the streets of Port Royal- he had just finished helping out at the Swann Manor with Mr and Mrs Turner as it seemed, he swept his fingers through his har and carried on past the docks, having a look around for a few new people and headed back into the somewhat busy streets of Port Royal. So many new people about- Joseph was too sensible to go on a boat and sail away to where ever the ocean may take him- but maybe one day he may just change his mind? Walking on he budged through a lot of random people who were shopping in Port Royal market until he stopped as a smirk tugged at his lips- noticing a girl, hmmph, typical. He gazed at her for a moment seeing her eyes catch in the light and shimmer- it was definiately a girl either though she was dressed non formally he could recognise her. He walked on puffing out his chest a fraction and smiled at her, trying to look masculine as it seemed. "Hello there" He introduced. [ Thats him, don't know who his mother is, but he's Jack's son, but hasn't met him yet. i1.tinypic.com/208h0f8.png ]

Kathleen sighed lightly nothing seemed to be happening inside the shop. She glanced around then rocked back and forth on her toes then heels. She began to whistle softly. The man who called himself a gard glared down at her. She stoped what she was doing and turned to him. She didn't like the look she was getting. Then he rolled his eyes.
"Its seems you are getting off with a warning this time, Miss Turner. But if I catch you doing anything else you wont get off so easily."
He bellowed into her face. Kat coughed lightly and drew her head back away from him. She watched him turn and walk away. She grinned slightly. She showed him. She took a nod and huffed. "That will teach you!" she yelled. She giggled lightly then glanced around the street. There seemed to be more people out today then ever. But who could blame them it was a nice day out. Kathleen leaned back against a wall which was conected to the Blacksmith shop and folded her arms over her chest. Soon her relaxation was taken away as she noticed someone walking up to her. It was a boy, but he looked like he wanted to appear as a man. She shook her head slowly as he said the words.
"Hello There"
"Hello." she said clamly.
Kathleen wanted to fall to the ground laughing. This boy looked way to funny trying to look like he was bulked up. She could tell there was something familiar about this person. She just couldn't place her finger on it. Kat watched him closely then looked away.
"Is there something you wanted?" she asked.
[But isn't that Johnny Depp? Haha]

He looked at her blankly and tilted his head slightly- feeling a little unwanted, i mean to be honest that wasn't much of a hearty welcome now was it? He pouted for a moment , trying to look innocent and ran his fingers through his hair, changing his weight from one leg to the other as he casually leant again the wall, crossing his legs at the ankles.
"No, not as far as i know"
He had just recalled her name for a moment there- Miss Turner, hmm, he knew exactly who she was now. He took a moment in thought and smirked to her lightly.
[ Thats the point, like father- like son ]

Kathleen rolled her eyes at his innocent look. It was horrible. Her dog could do it better then he could. But after all her dog was only a puppy at heart. Kat smirked slightly as she watched him make his self comfortable. She wanted to badly to push him off his feet, but then that would be rude. Instead she just look away. Watching people wiz by. But thought it all she could feel his eyes on her.
"Don't you know its rude to stare?"
Her question was bold but true. She was growing a bit uneasy with his eye gestures. It intimidated her in a small way. She let out a deep breath and turned to him slightly.

Jack had been wandering around town, looking for his son. However, he'd spotted Joseph about a few minutes ago, only to find him with a girl. He smirked to himself and then decided to lay low for awhile and let him have his fun. To a certain extent of course.
After ten minutes he decided that was enough flirting for now and he went up to Joseph.
"There you are, son."
He glanced at the young lady as she told him it was rude to stare. He swatted Joseph upside the head with his hand.
"Oy. You 'eard the young lady. Stop gawkin' and get back on the boat, or I'll leave without ye."
[Not that great, but oh well. ^^]

Joseph waited a moment after being hit upside the head, he frowned slightly and rubbed the back of his head with disturbance hearing his father say to him that he had to stop staring and get onto the ship. Hmmph. He wasn't staring, he crossed her arms and nodded trying not to loo at her unless he got accussed again.
"Fine, i'm going"
He nodded and walked over to the ship- running his fingers through his hair and looked back at the two with a slight annoyed face.

Kathleen smirked lightly. So this was the boy that her father was always talking about. The son of the Great Jack Sparrow. Sure his father was great but what made him so great? Kat didn't really have a problem with him staring. She almost enjoyed it. Being a tomboy she never really got noticed by boys, anyone actualy. She was always seen as just one of the boys. But she wasn't she was much more then just the daught of a pirate. She was her own person. The only one who saw that was her mother everyone else failed to.
"It was nice talking to you. Maybe we could do it again sometime."
Kathleen nodded slowly. She had made her last mark on the boy as he walked away. She was almost hoping that he wasn't walking away. But she couldn't changed that. Kat dusted off her hat and placed it back on her head.

Jack grinned knowing that he'd actually acted like a father. He was new at this since he'd recently found his son, that he had no clue about. He looked at the girl and cleared his throat. He blinked at her and raised an eyebrow, she looked vaguely familiar.
"What's your name, love?"

Kathleen glanced over at Jack. He had asked for her name. She froze. How do you forget your own name. She didn't know why it had happened. She smiled lightly as she recovered herself. She removed her hat and bowed.
"Kathleen Turner at your service sir."
Kat stood back up normally with a smile. We atleast she didn't choke but he only ask for her name not her service.

Jack blinked. Turner? Oooh, so this was dear William and Elizabeth's child. How sweet. She sure have her father's eyes, and her mother's beauty. He grinned and bowed as well.
"Well, young Miss Turner. I am Captain Jack Sparrow at yer service."
He then looked around for Joseph and then looked at the ship. He whistled for Joseph's attention and waved him back to where he was.
